Today I opened Halo: Reach and the game greeted me as I’m a new player. Then I discovered my spartan armor and gamertag were reset. And I can only play the first mission in campaign as if I hadn’t played it before. My rank and CR is as normal, though.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue? I haven’t purchased anything in game and the last time I played Reach was a couple days ago. The only thing I think may be relevant is my Xbox updated earlier.
I’ve tried to delete my local save or reinstall the game, but every time I entered it was just the same.( I’ve been playing Reach on Xbox One and I don’t have another console or a 360.)
Try hard resetting your Xbox One console (press and hold the power button for ten seconds).
Are you playing on Xbox One? If yes, did you make sure to move your save to the cloud on your 360? That might be why you are not seeing your progress.

I do and I don’t have a 360. It’s not like a problem with cloud save, cause I can still see my right rank and service record.

It could be a cloud save issue because your online rank and all that is stored on a server not on a local file. Your MP stuff is totally separate from your data for campaign and so on.

That’s frustrating, the bug came out from nowhere.
