Is there a still a strong or decent multiplayer base for reach on xbox one?
Yes. It depends on the time of day for certain playlists, but you can find matches in like 5 or 6 playlists most of the day.

True i find the most matches during the night and mid afternoon where i live.
I play on the 360, but yeah it’s still pretty active, usually 3000 on infection at least

Here is how I sum it up right now. Just stay away from MLG. That entire playlist is dead. Reach was not designed for competitive play. It was designed to have fun. Also, watch out for the hackers. They are kinda running wild now that 343 has let Reach govern itself…
Anyways, Reach isn’t quite what it was in the golden days. I was around during those days, but I was too young to understand anything that was going on. However, whatever those haters that think that Reach isn’t canon, just don’t listen to them. Reach is still a great game, and a game that I frequent. The clans can be sketchy, but it is a good way to get a whole team. Searching for groups is a great way to get some laughs! Just don’t expect to get the group together again…
One last thing, don’t think you are going to get any of the limited edition options, like the flames, recon, or a few other things. You can only access the original Waypoint on the 360, instead of the One. If you try to access it on the One, you will just be redirected to Halo Channel. On Halo: Reach people who play on the 360 and the One are both hosted on the same servers.
