Here is a guide on some multiplayer tactics to defeat the enemy and win the objective.
Tactics (The original)
-If you are spotted by an enemy, quickly head for the nearest blocking object. Slightly move into the open and shoot the enemy, taking cover when needed.
-If the enemy throw a grenade, quickly move out of its way. Do not wait until it lands to evade or jump out of the way, then you could die and the enemy could suceed its enemy.
-If they run towards you, backpadel while shooting. Try to avoid their melee attack. If you find yourself in a tight situation, try hiding in the nearest building/object/structure. If this will not work, try finding a teammate or two and try to work together to take out the enemy.
Counter Tactics
**-**If you catch a player with a deadly weapon, find some cover immediately. If you find that there is no available cover, quickly pull out a DMR. Avoid the deadly shots and be sure to use headshots. You must have a battle rifle for this to work, you can also use a needler rifle or any headshot weapon (except pistols).
-You can also confuse the enemy by circling around him/her and quickly trying to assisinate him/her. This is difficult to do alone, especially if there is more than one enemy. It is best to have a teammate with you when trying this tactic.
-The best way to kill an enemy is to cloak and assasinate him. However, you must sneak up behind the player and make sure no other enemy notices you. The thing about cloaking is that bungie decided to make it where if you move, you are more visible. So this may be difficult, this may not.
-When dealing with a sniper, you should first find cover or a hard-to-reach area. You should also find an area where the sniper can’t see or notice you. The best way to use this tactic is to use another sniper rifle and aim at the head. Do NOT use a rocket launcher to kill a sniper unless you know that they won’t notice it. Rocket launchers may be a good idea, but snipers seem to move out of the way to avoid fire or sneaked assasinations.
-Don’t try to kill a sniper when he/she is encountered in groups. Some snipers seem to have other players cover him while he/she snipes. The best way to deal with this situation is have a group of teammates ambush or attack the enemies, aiming at the sniper first.
-Gravity hammers and energy swords seems to be a one-hit-kill. However, please be sure to attack directly at the right time when dealing with an enemy with the same weapon. If you pull the trigger too late, the enemy will kill you and will not get hurt.
-Using spartan lasers is the BEST way to kill a player. Just make sure you have steady when killing a player.
