I apologizes if this subject has been brought up in the past. I can’t seem to find any solution regarding this issue and need help!
I’m having a strange problem which has only occured recently. For some reason, everytime I join a match my game freezes within 30-40 seconds from initial start.
I’ve troubleshooted this by installing new drivers, changing video settings, restarting my PC, verifying file integrity cache, reinstalling the game and no matter what I do, it still freezes. Power supply and GPU seem be at a good temp.
It’s consistent everytime I get into a match if that means anything.
The only way I was able to close out of the game was by alt-tabbing, opening task manager and ending it’s task.
My PC specs:
Windows 10
Intel i7 3.40GHz
16gb Ram
Nvidia Gefore GTX 1070
The game was working flawlessly with no issues as of late. I haven’t made any sudden changes another than installing the new release of Halo CE. I’m not sure if a new update altered something.
Any suggestions?
I’ve got the same issue you do. It’s been happening to me for weeks now even before CE released on PC. I’ve tried every option, verifying, reinstalling, the drivers and windows updates, nothing. Only thing that works is campaign and multiplayer campaign. I haven’t seen any other posts here regarding this problem find a solution.
It was just working for me a week ago. I don’t know if doing a coop campaign triggered this issue, but I’d definitely would like things to get back to normal. I’ve gifted 2 friends this game to find out the game won’t last for more than 45 seconds once in a match.

Hi guys! This post is old, but i had the same issues. I want to give you my solution, maybe could help anyone. I go on my network adapter settings and i checked “enable other people to Connect to my network” (go to proprieties) with in-game relays on. hope will help someone! Now i’m trying to do invasion with relays off, i hope i help anyone
