Same deal as The Little Moa. Glad to see its not just me at least.
If you wait for about 5 min it will load the playlist, and if you get like (My 4th try) you can get into it and find people.
I have been having the same issue.

Great, someone else is having somewhat similar troubles as I am.
It would say something about getting information from XBL, but when the information comes in it says I cannot play because I do not have the required DLC and the search option is grayed out.
