I’m finding impossible to make it through Long Night Of Solace. While defending Anchor 9, starting with the second wave, it seems every enemy is targeting me all at once. I’m dead within a minute no matter what I do. Does anyone have any tips on beating this? Dodging is useless, taking cover around the drydocks doesn’t help, what am I doing wrong here?
Also note; the only skulls I have active are Bandanna, Grunt Birthday Party, Cowbell, and IWHBYD.
I don’t think Bandanna is causing an AI glitch, I have noticed text errors with it on, but thats about it.

Bandana skull is going to invalidate your legendary playthrough, just FYI if you’re going for the achievement.
But yeah, that part really sucked. My strat was to camp around the station and debris and just hope I got lucky.

It seems the Space AI are significantly more aggressive in MCC version of Reach. The MCC strategy is hide behind Anchor 9 and pick off banshees and seraphs from afar. Kill a banshee, retreat behind the station, repeat. Once you get to the corvette you will have to hide behind the Savannah and use a similar strategy.

Are you sure? It hasn’t prevented me from earning the achievement for beating Heroic. But I guess I will have to try that strategy and hope for the best. I’m not going for anything special really, just to have done it.
Reach is the only one I’ve done LASO for, so far, help would be appreciated lol.
Yes, the space battle is a real pain. What you have to do is:

Remember there’s no time limit. Take your time!

Remember that the enemies come in waves but they are finite. Only take out one at a time, don’t get greedy!

Every single time after you have taken out ‘one’ ship or tried and failed to do so quickly enough, immediately hide/drift slowly amongst the two debris fields and let your health recover - rinse and repeat. Do not waste your time trying to hide around the station itself!

In the next section when attacking the ship, have the same mentality except you hide underneath the ship.
