So basically, I just went on Halo Reach this morning and went through the daily challenges, and one of them caught my eye,the challenge was called “Linked Up With Bungie.Net” and you get 1 Credit for completing this. I didn’t understand why they put the challenge up, if Bungie.Net is no longer updating for Halo Stats,ETC…, and why only 1 Credit too, So I thought it was just a mix up or a glitch!
Have any of you guys got this challenge today too?
It should be changed soon. But this should be In the reach section I believe. Sometimes it comes up.
Yeah, I had that challenge when I hopped on this morning.
I got my whole 1 cR, so I’m happy!
I just got my 1 cR! I’m going to reach Inheritor so fast thanks to this Challenge! I’m only 1 million cR away, and every cR counts! Thanks to 343i now, I have my 1 cR to be ready to buy Haunted!

It was funny the first time around - for other people - but why keep it that way? It gets changed eventually and by that time I’m off busy with other things and unable to get the replacement challenge. Change it back to the 3000 it was before please. The way it is now it’s just as bad as those days with only three challenges.

If you complete the Linked up with B.net challenge, the other challenge will automatically be completed, and to my knowledge, you get the cR from it too.

my account is already linked up so should i just sign in?
If it’s linked up just search matchmaking and you should get the challenge.
The question I have is why hasn’t ANYONE at 343i taken this challenge out of the computer? It takes less then a minute to delete anything having to do with this challenge from the system. Something that SHOULD’VE been done when the switch was made.
I was sure I’d read from 343i that they couldn’t actually remove any of the challenges, only change the payouts. And edit them manually after they’d been generated.
And yes, the cR1 was funny the first time, now it’s just insulting.

Now that they have finally “fixed” it and made it worth a whopping cR 1000, nope, it didn’t add the cR to my total. So 343i little joke, old joke, is now adding injury to insult. No I’m not crying over losing cR 999, big whoop, but it is disappointing that they can’t properly fix this. At the very least they should put it back to the proper credit amount since the way it is now there’s no way to avoid getting their “clever” little challenge if you were ever Linked except by twiddling your thumbs all day until they finally get around to changing it. IF they get around to changing it, I was seriously starting to think they wouldn’t today, what was it, about 10 hours.

It was a few hours longer last time, regardless, a whopping 3000 cR, you can earn that in one game of pretty much anything in Matchmaking these days.
EDIT: Think about it, let’s say they left it at 3000 cR, then you have a new player who can’t get it because he began playing Reach after 343i took over, then they change the challenge to something that gives 1000 cR, that player is lacking the amount of credits he should have got but couldn’t due to a challenge that shouldn’t be there.
You may say that the amount of credits he doesn’t get doesn’t matter, but neither does the small 2999 cR either.
So I went on today to test that theory out, went into score attack which always works to get the challenge and it said completed. Now I’m posting because everytime after when it was changed to something else it said I completed it when I came here and looked at challenges, but this time it is not so. When it read challenge completed no credits were appearing under the confirmation either.
I saw it this morning, and now it is changed.
