My friends have been completing some par times, but then the next mission will set us back hard. My question is. Is it timed by 1 sitting or can you run par times on all missions and achieve the achievement?
Pretty sure you can do each mission individually, and it’ll count. I want to say it’s just under 3 hours for the cumulative best times, but I’m not 100% certain.
Yeah, it’s additive, not consecutive. You can take breaks and work your times down over time.
My friend and I just completed this today and we only beat par time on a couple of missions. It does take the best time from each mission so you can do them individually but we did the legendary playlist in one sitting. Our final time was 2 hours, 58 minutes and 28 seconds so we cut it really close.
Just finished it solo on Legendary at 2:44:13, hasn’t unlocked though, really hope I don’t have to do this again, was a real pain.
Never mind, just got it after doing Noble Actual on Legendary again, disabled skulls and score/time tracking and it popped.
Do you have to set “time” or “competitive time” for this to register?

You can take any mission individually, it’s not one sitting. It just counts all your missions together so if all totals to under 3 hours, it pops.
I finished the campaign on Legendary at 2hrs30mins, there’s also a career/stat/reach/campaign section to see your “best legendary completion time” and it’s there. But no achievement.
Same for me. Completed it in 2:57:00, no achievement. Quite the bummer

Check how you completed the game since it’s possible you reset the timer by replaying the same mission twice
There is a problem with achievements in mcc. I completed Sword Base’s and Nightfall’s par times but neither of them popped the first time. had to re do them and it popped. Something is wonky
Me and my brother just completed with around 20 minutes to spare and still have not got the achievement. When we barely missed the par time, we would go and play it on easy to get that par time achievement, which we did with Tip of the spear and completed with like five extra minutes on easy, but did not get the achievement for par time.
*edit- we both relaunched the game the next morning and got the achievement. However Tip of the spear par time achievement does not unlock for anyone, if anyone is curious.
If you guys are still not getting your achievements, go solo, and re-run the following missions/cutscenes; Noble Actual, Epilogue, and Lone Wolf one more time on Legendary. It’ll pop. It’s dumb, but it’s a fix working for a lot of people right now.

It is also taking people up to 1-3 days for it to pop after doing so. Hang in there. It’ll show up.

Loaded the epilogue and it unlocked straight away, thanks 
I have 2:08:30 did all the cut scenes again no achievement >:(
