Halo Reach Griftball Issues

Hi,
after some years coming back to Halo Reach. I started to grind some credits and for feeling nostalgic in Halo. So I fired up Griftball matchmaking and found some strange people. They had common names and one guy is inheritor rank, no wonder this game is over 8 years old. The strange thing is he got a “Bungie” tag in Nametag. I was suspicious and looks modded because his commendation progress is on 100%.

The main problem is they played Griftball very unsportsmanship. They do spawn killing and his friends even on the other side of the team, he took the ball and do nothing. So I leave this ridiculous mode for good.

My question is: Is it normal to meet some player like this or is it general behaviour in Giftball mode?
I just wanted to play like in the old days in Reach… not spawn killing and exploiting this good game.

Unfortunately, it’s normal to see players like this now. You’ll find more boosting matches than actual matches in Grifball. I recommend reporting every player you see taking part in matches like that. If you have MCC, these problems should go away once Reach gets added to it later this year.

Another valid reason why ranking shouldn’t carry over to mcc
