halo reach grifball

i have noticed that halo reach grifball plays way different from halo 3 grifball.Like i am getting layed out by the grav hammer from a million miles away,or i can hit the guy with the ball right in the teeth with the sword or hammer, somehow he just shakes it off and knocks my -Yoink- out. has anyone noticed this.

Because the subtle things like the Hammer and Sword range, the difference in jump height and player speed are different.

so me swinging from 15 feet away and my enemies swinging from 15 feet away means i die because of speed and jump enhancements?

Also factors like connection speed, and you’d be surprised how small some distances work out in Halo.
