I just wanted to make a thread where everyone could reflect on the good times they had with Halo: Reach. Personally I have spent tons of hours with my friends playing Halo Reach Campaign and Multiplayer and have some really amazing memories. If anyone else has those please express them, I’d like to hear!
Same, loved reach got to Forerunner, i hope they added it to the MCC
I loved Infection in Reach and played it a lot and still do. Got to the point where I could easily get 40 kills or more by the end of the match. Invasion on Boneyard is great too with the camping spot for the first part of the match. Loved doing that, even if it pissed people off.
I had a lot of fun in Reach. But I think it was the least competitive out of all the Halos.
Reach is definitely the best Halo game IMO. I have had so much fun, meet so many great friends, and created so many great memories in Reach I don’t even know where to begin. The forge is perfect, the multiplayer is amazing, the campaign is epic, and honestly don’t think I will ever stop playing Reach custom games until I die. Being the last Halo game made by Bungie, I really do think they put all their amazing skill and effort together and made a perfect game.
I had a lot of fun playing split screen online in Reach. Some of my best gaming memories are from there.
I got much enjoyment from Reach, but the clunkyness of its multiplayer was frustrating. Granted I still enjoyed it.
I was addicted to the game for almost two years before I moved on to something else. I played online a lot more with friends than with the public.
In 2011 on my 18th birthday my friends customized the Spire map with a birthday cake for me and we were just goofing around on the map and we were all Elites.
Also I would beat my friend at Firefight all the time. (I think he was going easy on me)
I’ll admit the game was fun, but the only thing I didn’t like was, on my profile I can choose Elite as preferred species but I can only be one in game modes designed for it. Remember the good old days where in a Slayer match whatever species you had on your profile you could be in any game? I wish I could do that. That’s the only feedback I can give.
Oh and there was this one time my friends and I would fool around in the Forge World for countless hours. Good times.
I didn’t spend much time doing MP, but I always loved the Armour lock pop into beatdowns. Destroying Ghosts with it was awesome too. We had a few great Reach LAN parties. There aren’t many things more gratifying than hearing your buddies yelling from the basement as you slaughter them from the second floor. Hoping for some more beer fueled local slayer nights with MCC.
I loved Reach. I spent lots of time in Customs and Multiplayer. Great game, I just hated the awful bloom on the DMR.
Halo: Reach is TOTALLY my favorite halo game because because the ranks look and sound cool, so much armor to choose from, there is firefight, and your own personal Spartan is the main Charcter. Right now I am a Warrant Officer Grade 3. Also, the reason I like is because I got lots of my friends from the game.

I agree to. They left the Halo franchise on a high note for sure. To bad Halo 4, to me personally, is a bust.
Like I said, Halo Reach is my favorite but I’m not leaving Halo 4 in the dust, honestly, it’s my second to third favorite Halo game

Reach had the best Firefight (in terms of different options, much better than Spartan OPs) and had the best Forge (once Halo Master Chief Collection comes out, Halo 2 Anniversary will have the best Forge). Hopefully people will still play this on their Xbox 360s.
