I started playing Halo Reach and when the title menu opened up it said:

and I’m like what? So I check my armor and everything is gone, it’s stripped down to the default set. I had to go through and re-customize my spartan. Luckily i didn’t lose any credits.
so today I was going to do the challenge when you have to kill 20 enemy’s with the target designator so i jump into campaign (I’ve already beaten it) and i go to select the level and it says i haven’t played campaign.
This has happened twice now. Has anyone else had this problem?
Recovering your GT should bring back your Spartan model but you’ll have to play through the campaign again I’m afraid.

I’m told that it’ll also recover your Campaign data if you do it as soon as possible after losing the data. Take too long, though, and the LIVE data will be updated to match the (now-broken) data on your Xbox, meaning you won’t get anything back.

Guess I’ve just been unlucky every time then.

I haven’t transferred my account to any other xbox. IDK why it did it you would think it would remember what my spartan would look like
This glitch is caused by dashboarding from either in a game or anywhere not from the the title screen. Always always return to the title screen and then dashboard. Never rage quit from in a game or just turn your xbox off etc.
I can guarantee this is your problem but you should also check for any corrupt data you have for reach. Gametype, map or video etc.

ok thanks, when i rage quit i usually just exit to the menu but i’ll be sure to not rage quit to the dashboard. thanks
