When will I be able to insert my Xbox 360 Halo: Reach game disc into my Xbox One so I can start playing it again? I don’t want to have to pay $24.99 to download a game I already own.

Since no one would like to answer, when they release it for backwards compatibility. You will be able to use the disc to download the game

Yeah, you insert the disc, it pretty much allows download of the game and then from then on you can just boot it up without the disc just like any other digital game you own.

Also, wrong forums mate, each Halo title has it’s own forums.

I think you have to keep the disc in the tray in order to play the digital copy.

You actually still need the disc to play the game. A file is downloaded but the disc serves as authentication.

Digital = ready to install section

Physical = disc in when you’re playing.

This is only my 5th post to this forum. Didn’t know there was a Halo: Reach forum. Now, I know, and knowing is half the battle.
