Hey guys,
I want to re-purchase Halo: Reach for Xbox 360, since I sold the physical CD a long time ago. Was wondering if there’s a digital version out there that would allow me to play the game on my old Xbox 360 and have the stats of the account I’ve always used for Halo games. Wondering if it would also allow me to download custom maps, the old ones I already had saved on my old account and new custom maps from other player’s fileshare.
Any info would be much appreciated,
Greetings from Spain.
Yes, here’s the digital purchase on 360 Marketplace with all free DLCs:

The digital copy is technically the same as the physical one, so you shouldn’t have any problem with the stuff saved on your account. Just be sure to sync your profile when launching the game.

Thank you very much. Sorry to ask again, but this has me worried: now I see everyone playing custom maps on Halo: Reach from the MCC, either for PC or XBOX ONE. Was wondering if xbox 360 users still can access other user’s fileshare and download the classic custom maps, no matter if their profile is active in the MCC version of the game. Is there a compatibility barrier?
Hope I’ve explained what I’m worried about well enough. That would be all, thanks for the help.
No problem! Unfortunately not. Original Reach and MCC Reach are two different games, so the maps/gametypes you download from other user’s fileshare on MCC Reach can only be played on MCC. The same goes for 360 Reach. Hope this helps!
