Even if they would still care about reach and wanted to make it obtainable the couldn’t, just like the nameplates the flames weren’t included in the transfer process from Bungie to 343…
I really would have liked to wear the flames myself but they were a Bungie exclusive and were free for everyone for a limited time. I didn’t get the opportunity to get them, that’s -yoink- but I guess we’ll just have to get along with this.
Ps: You could try to get the red flames on ebay or amazon, but atm there are no offers for them. I tried getting one when I was studying but didn’t have the money, now I have the money but the flames aren’t available anymore. Karma is a -Yoink-.

Just here to say no. I mean… why would they? You got red flames with the legendary edition of the game and blue flames at bungie day 2011.
They were something you got if you paid for the legendary edition and the blue flames were given out, sure it was a single day you were able to get them, but that has passed, 5 years ago. Blue flames are a legacy from bungie to reach players who played the game back then. (And knew that you were able to get them)
Im sure there still might be a legendary edition somewhere with the red flames, but it’s not going to be cheap.
Sorry OP, as has been stated multiple times over the past few years it’s no longer possible to unlock Blue Flames. There are other topics discussing the details of this
