You are indeed correct, using network manipulation to either reset the daily cR cap and/or reset challenges is against Section F of the Code of Conduct a player agrees to upon signing up for Xbox LIVE Gold. It is essentially a form of cheating through exploitation and boosting.
From Section F of the Code of Conduct: -“Do not take any action to cause degradation of service for Microsoft or other users, including but not limited to network interference or manipulation.”
From Section F of the Code of Conduct: -“Do not exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches”
From Section F of the Code of Conduct: -“Do not cheat in a game unless the developer has deliberately enabled cheats.”
I am posting this so the OP can clearly understand what he is saying to do is wrong and can lead to a temporary ban, perma-ban, and/or derank in Halo: Reach. I noticed one of the threads you posted this in was locked OP. I posted what I did incase you didn’t recieve an explanation to why that thread was locked.
