I’m worried about the number of modders I’ve encountered in Halo Reach recently, I can’t believe they haven’t been picked up by the banhammer yet. I’m not naming names, but one individual yesterday had 100% commendations with only 1500 multiplayer kills which is absolutely impossible. Also, his lobby name was different to his gamertag. I just hope Reach doesn’t fall to modders and hackers just like Halo 3 did.
I’ve fallen victim to people who have hit me off many times on Reach, it already has.

Yeah, same here. Often happens when me and a few other players run swat together and people can’t take losing.
I have seen people using mods in custom games like Assassination Tower and Day Z. Not the trait mods though ( I hate these as well) but a strange mod that gives a player weird movement ( Its hard to explain in words). I have also saw someone change their gamertag in lobby to something “unsettling”. 343, if you are reading this, Reach is turning into a mod/ hack fest. Please save this game from this disaster.
The only mods I have seen in Matchmaking while playing(And this goes back several years too) from my experience is people who have DMRs that can two shot you consistently. First shot takes out your shields, second shot kills, everytime. I leave those games for obvious reasons. Outside of that, the only other instances I have seen while playing are lagswitching.

Most come with both.
at least there isnt any with god mode and no clip in gb and infection.
It ruins the game, first few would be fun with a mod but after that it’s boring.
I’m hoping the modders figure out how to get past the FPS lock so Reach can be run at 60fps on the Xbox one, since Microsoft doesn’t seem to want to themselves.

I found a guy last night that was flying around in a Warthog and his gunner was killing other players in the air with gauss canon I wrote down his Gamertag and when I went to find him his gt was 1 letter longer than normal gt’s which I found funny and his rank was all noob. I wanted to record the Vid from Xbox one but my connection was lost and couldn’t view that last game that I played so I couldn’t post it.

It’s not impossible, they might’ve grinded grifball or firefight.

In total you need almost more than that for various commendations so its an obvious hacker.
Hackers hack games because they suck and need all the advantages they can get. Play with one without hacks (they’re too scared to even turn them off) and they’ll play like they’ve never held a controller before.
