Halo Reach Ever Going To Be a Thing?

Cant we just take votes to make this happen?

Make what happen exactly?

As in, Reach remastered, or just to get people to play the old school version again?

There’s still a pretty good population, but it’ll never be what it was. It’s like trying to repopulate Halo 2 when Reach was released (oh wait, that wasn’t possible - thanks Microsoft).

I put days in that game as well - I think I’m a Noble or something.

There isn’t a way to rebuild the reach population unless you can convince friends to go back to it and get them to convince people. Everyone’s moving to the newer games and some don’t go back which is very sad in my opinion because reach was and is a great game. Over the last few months I’ve convinced some to go back to reach and that’s all that you can do.

Right? I was almost a Hero before i stopped playing…

reach was fun. it is boring now

Nonsense. Halo 3 is still fun. just have to get a group together that knows how to actually have some fun.

If you mean a remaster, that probably won’t happen. If you mean something more along the lines of a Definitive Edition- a version of the game optimized to run at 1080p/60fps on Xbox One with all the DLC included- that could happen… if there’s enough demand for it.

i mean hell, there was enough of a demand for a definitive edition of Halo Wars. So, who knows. It wouldn’t hurt to tell different stories during the battle for Reach. Cause i get that Noble Team was in direct contact with Halsey, Cortana, and Captain Keyes. But that doesn’t exclude the fact that there were several Spartan units that made quite a noticeable splash in the Halo Universe. It would be quite nice to experience some of the things that Buck saw during Reach. and his transformation to a Spartan.

It would be kind of distressing to see the Halo Reach community fragmented between two different games, unless of course you could still play with people from the original game in this “Definitive Edition”.

Yeah, the only way that would work is if you could cross-platform it somehow.

It also makes a lot less sense to have a Definitive Edition of a sequel-less, multiplayer based game. It makes more sense (not total sense) for Halo Wars, seeing as it’s more of a story/campaign based game and the sequel is coming out.

I think reach is among the top as far as halo games so it might happen.
