It’s pretty obvious that the Memories of Reach content update coming to Halo 5 in a few months is going to have Reach-themed content - maps, REQS, armour, etc. But how awesome would it be to have the Halo Reach DMR in Halo 5? The design differences between the H5 version and the classic are striking, and it would be awesome to see something similar to the Halo 2 Battle Rifle implemented into Warzone and Arena. If you want to see this weapon in Memories of Reach, let 343 know. Comment and like to show them how much we want it.
If you truly want 343 to see this, I would suggest going on Twitter or maybe Reddit.
Now, the Halo Reach DMR. I see it as something that would be interesting in Halo 5, but the way it plays is way different from most of the weapons in Halo 5, so it would be very wierd.
The bloom on that DMR is almost useless at long range. Unless if that is fixed then please no.
It would just be a reskin, as the 5 DMR and Reach DMR play the same if you don’t consider bloom. If bloom comes with it then no, that would be pointless.
