With the average population of Halo: Reach being around 16k don’t you think 343 should maybe start changing up the playlists? I’m personally starting to get a little bored of playing the same maps and would love to be able to play some DLC maps in Team Slayer every now and then, I think a DLC only playlist would bring in quite a few people who are wanting to get their moneys worth out of the map packs. Even just reducing the price of the map packs might convince a few more players to buy them or make one of the packs free like with the Heroic Map Pack in Halo 3.
Maybe also add Rocket Race just for the sake of it.
Just my thoughts anyway, what do you guys think?

Halo Reach is an old game on, now, an outdated console. All that Halo Reach receives is routine server maintenance, DLC maps are implemented in majority of playlists, however the owners that purchased the DLC are either having the same predicament as you or long gone. If you’d like to play in DLC maps, grab some friends or go on the recruiting forum to find people.
What they should do is to instruct Xbox Live to give DLC free to all players still playing Reach. No one in their right mind would pay for them now.

Microsoft does not allow dlc that carries achievements to be free. The only exceptions to this rule are very early 360 titles, like GoW, whose dlc was released before this rule was created. This is why, for example, Heroic and Cold Storage are free for Halo 3 however the rest still cost money. This is also why Reach dlc will always be for pay.
I’d love a DLC playlist, but I doubt 343 will add one in since the game is almost five years old and at the moment it seems 343 has bigger fish to fry.

Realistically, it would only probably take two or three staff members and a couple days to handle something small like adjusting the playlists in reach(since the software and frame work are all there for them at the studio). It should be no problem for them, however letting them know is. The Best bet would be to contact someone like snickerdoodle or if you see Bravo, mention it to him. Even though they have no say in anything that goes on within 343, its probably the best bet to get word to them. Either that or plant a thread in the Halo 5 Guardians beta forum which they will tell you to move it but it will get noticed there more easily by the mods and maybe passed along to higher up.

This is a brilliant idea, DLC playlist with the company of Action Sack would have players flooding back to Reach.
Guys I remember how low the population was in the DLC playlist before they removed it. Re introducing it now would just result in long wait times for games and a playing the same players over and over again due to low numbers. There are simply not that many players with DLC on Reach anymore. I have all maps and have seen ONE DLC map to vote for in a pre game lobby in the last 12 months. They need to give all players DLC and stuff the MS policy as stated above which I already knew about.

What about Titanfall? Those DLCs are all free now, on both systems.
