Halo Reach DLC maps on Xbox One - Can’t find maps

I recently installed Halo: Reach on my Xbox One and also downloaded and installed all of the DLC map packs (Noble, Defiant, Anniversary). The problem is the game doesn’t seem to be able to “see” the maps I downloaded.

I still get the “Players don’t have the recommended content” message before starting matchmaking and I can’t load the maps in a custom game because the game thinks they aren’t downloaded. It prompts me to download them again, but they are already installed…

Am I doing something wrong here? Anyone have an idea about what’s wrong? Looked online quick and couldn’t find anyone with similar issues, so hopefully this isn’t a repost. Any help is appreciated!

Try downloading every piece of free DLC. Sometimes that messes with the game. If that doesn’t work, try hard resetting your Xbox. Additionally, you can try clearing the cache. One of those should fix it.

Thanks for the help, tuhin94! I tried all that and I am still having the problem :frowning: the cache clear on Xbox One is under BluRay settings right? That’s what a YouTube video showed me…

I even re-installed the whole game and all map packs twice. It seems the anniversary map pack works. I have all of those maps and can load them. It’s the Noble and Defiant map packs that aren’t found. Hmm, not sure where to go from here… anyone else had this issue?

Yeah, that’s the process for clearing the cache. That’s weird. I had a similar issue when I installed Reach and 4 on my One last year. But the problem sorted itself out when I restarted my Xbox.

I guess the only other thing I can think of is to install the game on a different drive. So install to an external if it’s on an internal or vice versa. I’m sure there’s another possible solution, but that’s what I can think of right now.

Apologies for not getting back sooner. Been busy with work. Tonight I kicked on my Xbox One and loaded up Halo: Reach and all of the maps were there! And no more message before matchmaking!

I didn’t re-install anything or do anything else, just took a while for it to figure itself out. I didn’t even hard restart my Xbox. Just waited a couple days. I’m not sure what the fix was but looks like I am good now. Thanks for the help, tuhin94!
