Halo Reach: Disconnected from Xbox live

This problem only started happening recently.

I search for a game and it starts going into the game, goes into a black screen (score screen) waits about 30 seconds says changing host and then i am the only person left in the game and it says “Disconnected from xbox live”. This is not a problem with my internet, as all my other utilities still work fine and i can reconnect instantly.

Comcast Cable (Sarasota, FL)

was wondering if anyone else has had any related issues, on a side note after these “dropped games” i get the matchmaking penalty for “quitting” when i am not intentionally quitting games.

I’m pretty sure that it is your Internet connection. Even if it’s dropped for a single second, you’ll be disconnected from the game. This happened to me before.

Yeah, it happens to me a lot, and my internet isn’t the best. I’m not overly sure what you can do about. It seems odd that you get quit banned for it though. Whenever I drop out, the game ends normally, albeit prematurely.
