Halo Reach December update Thoughts

343 Industries dropped the December update for Halo: Reach matchmaking yesterday. I wrote a quick blog post summarizing my thoughts about the update. Overall, I think the improvement of Halo: Reach is a slow process, but 343 is doing a good job.

good job? the best playlists out there, obilterated with stupid bullet bleed-through, and stupid 85% bloom, enforcing spamming more than ever oh and not to forget about sword block with sprinters… awful!

Also, where are my map packs!? now I never get to play them, damn… 20 dollars to the trash

Trust me, If I dont get Noble and Defiant and LTD FF playlist’s in january, im going to jump that f***ing window!

yeah i was trying out the mlg playlist and the TU settings suck. I got 3 shot and sometimes 2 or 1 shot (By a DMR mind you) by 1 person in more then 1 occasion after picking up a health pack or my shield recovered. Then I looked at the game type they used and realized it wasn’t even a 343 Industries fixed gametype. Some person from the community did it meaning that glitches will still apply to that gametype. Someone please notify 343 to fix the game someday soon. As in don’t let the community use the glitch ridden game types as official playlist game types. Other than that I think it would be ok except when people figure out oh look mlg players can just spam and get kills now…

Cool i guess, but Squad and the other playlists with the 85% bloom are fun. The Only problems I can see are when teams lose or gain advantages over other teams. Whether it be a map advantage or players dropping out (lol). Last complaint people may have is grenades being overpowered and jet pack/armor lock combos, but thats normal. I also pointed out to people already the Needle Rifle is a automatic death machine in the hands of a good marks man. I Want to make it clear though that the DMR is still equal to the NR even though NR shoots faster accuracy should be about the same for both unless you spam.
