Halo Reach Credit Ban

  • We were in a grifball match in Reach and me and my three friends were kiling these noobs so much that after that match we got credit ban. We got ban for year. My question is how will we reduce the time this ban? How will we tell 343?

I doubt you were banned due to destroying another team during a game.

If you have indeed been banned for a year, then this isn’t your first offence. You must have been credit banned multiple times before to receive a ban that long. But looking at your Grifball game history, it seems you and your 3 buddies have been stat and credit boosting by killing inactive guests for 5 straight games. Both of these make your ban completely deserved and justified, since boosting is not allowed in game. It is also possible that your console has also been banned from earning credits for the same length of time, meaning you can’t use another account to continue boosting. For your reference here are the stats for the 5 games of Grifball I’m talking about:

Game 1
Game 2
Game 3
Game 4
[Game 5

](https://haloreachstats.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/super%20jackson20/haloreach/gamehistory#!/?game=1369423012&section=Unknown)To answer your questions, you cannot reduce the length of the ban or have it lifted. The banhammer is hard coded into both the game and matchmaking server, so it cannot be adjusted and all bans are automated and irreversible. To earn credits on your banned account, you will simply have to wait until the ban is lifted on its own. And you cannot contact 343 about this, though even if you could they would more than likely tell you exactly the same thing I have.

Now I remeber more now, these guys were not inactive, they just sucked real bad. They were low ranks, we had founs several matches like this. We got so much kills that we got 15,000 to 21,000 thousand credits per match. Thanks guys for repling to my topic, I glad that you guys gave me the answers that I needed.

Strange. You say they sucked yet all 4 accounts in all 5 of those game managed to go very positive in respect to their K/D spreads, and all the inactive guest accounts (yours includes) went negative the exact same amount. Not to mention that the 3 other actual XBL accounts in these 5 games I have listed are all on your friends list and you have played with them before. If I can find all this out (and I don’t even work for 343), did you really think 343 wouldn’t check all this in more detail than I did?

The evidence is right there and cannot be denied. You were boosting and the banhammer caught you. Your ban is well deserved and wont be overturned for at least a year, by which point the game may not be playable any more.

Genius. No one messes with Phil Mitchell; the hardest bloke from the mean streets of the east-end.

Shot down. Anyways, kind of sucks that he played this much Halo: Reach and now he’ll never be an Inheritor. Still though, it’s not his first offense so it’s not like he didn’t have a chance to repent from his ways. They don’t credit ban for 1 year on the first offense.

Don’t mind me, just ranking up.

Yeah what you were doing is boosting so I guess that ban makes sense but that seems a little long especially for grifball boosting.

One time i was boosting on griffball, and i was lucky. I was only baned for 1 day.

That’s odd, are you sure you got banned. It could be a daily limit CR max.

IT’s not odd. I looked through his game history and provided him with evidence of his boosting. His ban was well deserved.

I was credit banned today and I have no idea why. It happened just after I quit a match where some users were using mods, they used guns in grifball. At first I thought they somehow knew I reported them for modding and so they banned me but is that even possible?? I do have bad internet connection which results in bad lag could that be something?? Please help
