So I recently got halo reach as a game for gold and noticed there was a character customisation screen. Unfortunately my Xbox just skipped past it and I’ve not had the chance to change any help?
All you need to do is press start and go to The Armoury. This is where you can customise your armour. To customise you service tag and gender, go into the Player option.

Like everyone else said. The reasons I like Reach the best is because it’s the more realistic than Halo 4, but not enough to be like COD. I like the customization.
If you press the start button (I believe, it’s been awhile) you’ll bring up a menu of things and you want to click on “ARMORY” to customize your character.

Press the start button. Look for armor. Its simple.
You will have to rank up and earn credits to be able to get new armour. I suggest you go into the matchmaking playlists and look for score attack. Play that and you can get loads of credits. Try grifball as well. On one game, I got over 14,000 credits. Oh, and complete your challenges. They can earn you tons of credits.
You`ll have unlimited times to change your character. Just enter the pause menu whle you are in the lobby or main menu.

It’s not I’m afraid, Halo 5 is the first and only game that has allowed character customization from Waypoint. Reach requires you to be in-game. You might want to contact Xbox Live Support about your download issues, they might be able to help. Also, please don’t revive very old posts
