Obviously this is fairly normal. My problem is that it changes the time it does it all the time…not quite every night, but perhaps every other on average? I’m on the east coast btw. At one point, it was either 5 or 6 a.m. for me. It seemed like that for a while. I remember way back when I think it was closer to midnight (like 2011-12 way back when). Now it’s been switching around - 3 a.m., either 1 or 2 a.m., now it just switched over on me in the past hour while I was working on one of the challenges. I’m guessing prolly at eleven p.m. Almost midnight here.
This is getting really, really irritating, as I’ve been cheated out of completing atleast half a dozen challenges now. I don’t know what could possibly be causing it, and it’s even worse since the weekly challenge this week is getting a bunch of daily challenges, most of which I could have done today, and instead got zero…
It never seems to reset right on the dot at the hour it’s supposed to. At one time they reset perfectly at 2 am for me but now that 343 has all but cast it aside from their priorities it has taken upwards of an hour from the set reset time some nights. Not sure what time the reset corresponds to but someone once guessed it corresponded to midnight where Bungie was based. IDK. I don’t even bother chasing challenges when the clock hits 1:30 because knowing my luck I’ll be nearly done and it’ll be one of those nights when they DO reset when they’re supposed to.
i don’t even go for challenges unless i know i can get in at least two matches yoink i don’t do the endure challenge anymore unless i’m playing it with that no ai instant respawn gametype(just search up instant spawn in file browser for instant spawn gametypes) where you can get 30k in less than 12 minutes.
The challenges have been resetting at 11pm EST, rather than 6am EST which was the norm. Not sure who or what has changed this, but I imagine it’s messing with people’s schedule to complete them.
