Ok I searched the forum couldnt find anything related to my problem
I was warrant officer grade 3 last night only needed 18000 cr for next level i.e captain
I created a custom challenge on halo way point which will award me the credits after it completed.I finished the challenge early and switched off my xbox.Then i went to see waypoint and it states my challenges are done and i ll get credit only after the time,which i have set lapses.Today when i logged into xbox i was captain but didnt get the An Honor Serving i.e Reached the rank of Captain in the UNSC achievement. Any help will be appreciated here!!

Thats what happens when you expect 343 to come up with things that work.
Try playing a game, it should give you the achievement.
Got it after upgrading to captain rank 1 strange problem!!!
