Halo: Reach - Can't Load "Pillar of Autumn" [Steam

  • MCC HALO GAME: Halo: Reach - PC/Steam - ISSUE: The mission “The Pillar of Autumn” will not load. After I finish the previous mission and get to “The Pillar of Autumn” I will get a quick loading screen then be booted to the main menu. I have tried launching from different checkpoints in this chapter but receive the same results.It’s kind of a bummer. I see this issue on various boards going back months but have none appear to have a resolution

Ive been having the same problem. I read that clicking escape quickly before it boots you works, but it hasn’t for me. What did work was to go into the actual steam desktop app, library, right click on Halo: Master Chief Collection, properties, local files, verify integrity of game files. make sure NOT to gointo the files and do this. Im kinda dumb so I was stumped.
