I owned Reach on the 360. I no longer have the disc. I’m not able to download the game on the Xbox One. My online friends have the game downloaded without needing a disc. What am I doing wrong? When I go to my storage the game is in there. When I click on the game I get asked to insert the disc.
If you had it on disk then from what I remember you would need the disk put into your console so it knows that you actually owned the game license.
You friends most likely have a digitial license for it. It was one of the Games with Gold free games a while back, they might have picked it up back then or when it was on sale.
Did anyone here download Halo Reach on the Xbox One or are they all playing from their Xbox 360 Dvds? I have it on my library since 2014 from Games with Gold but it does not show up on my Xbox One library for download. I am only now able to play it on my Xbox One with my original Xbox 360 Dvd. Is it not a valid download since it was from 2014?
