Need to make it so people who still play Reach or have started playing reach again, because it is an amazing game, the ability to access the Flaming Blue helmet. a lot of people didn’t have the opportunity to access it and it should be made accessible here for us to get!!!
If you would have looked over the already existing threads in this section you would have noticed that there are tons of threads asking for this.
I don’t have it either. Does this suck? Yes!
Will they ever make it available again? NO!
Halo Reach is my favorite Halo game, but we all need to realize that 343 is working on their own projects now so Reach is not really in their field of view.

As the reply above states, this has been addressed before, but going to do so again.
1.) The flaming blue helmet was a Bungie thing, and thus, shall not be a part of Halo again. It was a special reward, not something that was obtainable through simply playing the game.
2.) Just giving access to it undermines the attempt and work of those of us that did get it. Yes, new players didn’t get the chance to get it. Then again, I was there from the start, I earned it. That’s the way things work sometimes. There are a lot of perks I missed out on other games from being late to the party, I don’t complain about it or demand that I be given them. I respect those that earned them.

Couldn’t have said it any better! I agree 100%.
‘Copy and paste from previous Blue Flame thread’
The Eternal Armor effect was given out by Bungie as a parting gift to it’s loyal fans for Bungie Day 2012. The Eternal Armor Effect is associated with the Bungie nameplate, they are connected through coding. If you have the Bungie nameplate, you have ‘blue flames’. If not, then you don’t (Unless you utilized an ill-legit method, which the Banhammer will detect once you go online).
When Bungie passed the rights and data to Halo to 343 Industries, they did not hand over the rights to the nameplate system for Halo: Reach. Because of this fact (As well as copyright reasons I’m sure), 343i cannot give out the Bungie nameplate that the Eternal Armor effect is attached to and because of that 343i cannot give out the Eternal Armor effect.
Either you got it when Bungie was offering it, or you missed out and didn’t get it. it is fair and ‘Blue Flames’ are not coming back. Please understand this and stop feeling entitled to the Eternal Armor Effect if you missed out on it because it was free at one point. If you want a cool armor effect, there is always Inclemental Weather in which you can earn, or if you have money to get a Legendary Edition code on eBay, the Legendary Armor Effect.

While that is correct, it wasn’t the only way to get it. Got mine via the Bungie vs the World multiplayer event, where had to beat a team that had a Bungie employee on it to get it. Hence, I have the blue flames, but not the nameplate.
I lost my Bungie nameplate and blue flaming helmet when I had to sell me old xbox 360 now I have a new one but I don’t remember the username or password so I emailed someone in Bungie and asked them if I could get it back and I doubt it but I will wait and see I guess.
I have both flame and nameplate, some halo players think I work for Bungie even tho I’m too young to work lol.

That is because they were given to you by Bungie. That in itself is different. 343i has zero access to the Eternal Armor effect, they simply can’t give it out due to being tied to the nameplate as well as not having access to the effect themselves.
I actually agree with OP, I first played Reach on my other account on Halloween 2010, I just didn’t get the blue flames when they came out, too lazy and didn’t have an iPhone, my buddy had one and he offered to let me use it to get them, but I just didn’t care enough at the time.
OP nameplates and blue flames are unobtainable deal with it

Hacker alert? How do you have the Bungie nameplate too?

This used to be for Bungie employees only but they opened it up when giving out Blue Flames with their iOS app. Those who activated the “Eternal” Armor Effect from the Bungie Mobile app or Bungie.net before 7/8/11 were able to get the nameplate as well. I had it, but I opted to keep the Halo CE one
they shouldn’t give out the eternal armor effect, it was something that bungie gave out to the long time fans and people who supported halo Reach. If they started giving it out again to everybody, than it wouldn’t be special anymore. I believe that is how it should remain, a badge of honor for those who stuck with Reach and still keep its community alive today.

Have both also on two accounts.

As noted above, they can’t give out flames any more. Haven’t been able for quite some time
I’ve missed these opportunities before but it creates motivation to be on the lookout for them in the future!
I’ve missed out on gamer opportunities before. It is great motivation to be on the lookout for the future.
I recently started playing again, Not once did I have a notification about the Blue Flaming helmet… I never had the Chance to get it and I Find it highly upsetting and Disappointing. Please re add it so I can have the change of getting it.
You are a bit late, you should have been there at 7/7/-11
Don’t ask the impossible, blue flames are a legacy from bungie.
