After surviving & completing all classified Headhunter operations, B029 was pulled out of the branch in 2552 due to its dwindling numbers as a result of the Covenant’s ‘Silent Shadow’. Deemed too valuable to be wasted on further suicide operations, B029 was given a set of Mjolnir Mark V armor, promoted to Lieutenant & reassigned as part of O.N.I. Here, B029 was stationed with a classified crew belonging to the UNSC Prowler Corps tasked with retrieving hidden Forerunner technology throughout the galaxy & returning it to O.N.I Section 3 for research & development. For this reason B029 & the crew were largely responsible for Humanity’s technological improvement post Covenant war, with notable findings being both the slipspace engines powering the UNSC Infinity & the UNSC’s capability to retrofit its war ships with energy shielding technology. Further operations conducted by B029 & the Prowler crew have yet to be redacted but rumours among high ranking O.N.I brass say that their latest task is finding the location of the former Forerunner capital being Maethrillian…
