Well if this is about contributing here I go …
Something that saw added and sorry if did not put captures but I am a console player do not know how the MCC insider is working on PC, well my point is the GAMMA section that is in the video configuration after adjusting HDR.
Some points that you should keep in mind and how both HDR and Gamma should be configured if you play on Xbox One S you will not see the change I think many know.
- The Gamma setting plus HDR in xbox one X is completely great, but found a detail that if the Gamma has a setting of 5 or less 5 the shadows have a loading problem, it is not configured correctly and at the moment you do not know if you are in shadow or darkness. - A good point that the Gamma setting is for each separate game (I imagine this once released will be for the other Halos), in order to have a nice adjustment. - Something that can tell you and I hope that has not happened to you, once you configure your HDR remember that this setting is general for all Halo, but if you want to configure HDR + GAMMA within a game to your liking you will see the values while you are playing but once you exit to the start or play another game; Let’s assume Halo 2 will look different so adjust HDR to your liking just once. - hope the xbox one family will keep this for the final Halo 4 flight update and several updates and not just something that only arrives on November 17 on Xbox Series S | X. - think this is my last point about how the Gamma behaves in Halo 4; not really if you have to see the color palette of the game environment but the GAMMA with a setting more than 5 shows a white screen; Compared to Halo Reach that its setting is more of colors than a flash type that is made with HALO 4.I think those points are what was testing both in the campaign and in multiplayer on the console, if you have xbox one or xbox one S there is no HDR adjustment more than on Xbox one X.
This contribution is only for console, not for PC, avoid falling into conflict.
