I believe that Halo Reaches Population is growing and the people from halo 4 and halo 5 are going back to reach. The population on halo reach is higher than halo 4 and halo reach is 2 years older than halo 4. Halo reach is an outstanding game and it has brought lots of good to my bloodline.
I am one of those players who are going back to reach, although on a newer account. Its really refreshing to play and throws me back to the good old 360 days, but nothing beats Halo 3. Unfortunately Halo 3’s population is at an all time low currently filled with modded 50’s and people from other corners of the globe making connection atrocious.
Also I remember the player count fixing for me recently and the population of reach was almost 7000! I find this amazing for such an old game.
I feel it’s going to take the same road as Half-Life 2 and Counterstrike: Source.
With all due respect the community has not been expanding as the game popularity decreases dramatically every year I’ve come to notice a 1000 players on average play reach match making alone and roughly 300 in this community that are in a clan and less than 200 civilians that are know about the community but choose not to participate, this community is exceeding to a rapid rate to falling on reach completely due to the fact a lot of clans do not have the capability to stay up more than a week due to the leaders been inexperienced let not forget the intelligence of the players in the community who don’t understand official raid rules and like to make ridiculous rules in order to claim a win.
In my eyes this community isn’t expanding but pretty much dead to be precise if we exclude the idiots of the community from this equation.

I played reach on my one about 2 days ago and idk if it was a bug or just inactivity but there were no players in any multiplayer it was completely dead if it does have a playerbase its on 360
Reaches population has only gotten smaller and it seems it’s player count drops significantly annually. What’s left of the “Reach” community is generally toxic or cringe rp clans, Inheritor spawn kill squads, new players, modders, or those who just need anger management. I get more hate mail from Reach than Dark Souls PvP. It’s truly the bottom of the barrel left, and it’s rancid.
I only play multiplayer on a smurf so I don’t have to keep cleaning out my inbox.
I’d recommend moving to 5 as the clan community isn’t nearly as bad as the Reach clan community.
Reach is still a great game no doubt. Especially the campaign.
343 should use the armor customization in Reach as well for future games. It really is satisfying

“Whats left is: generally toxic or cringe rp clans, Inheritor spawn kill squads, new players, modders, or those who just need anger management.”
Uuumm…I am not any of those and with a player population of at least 7,000; not everyone else still playing is either. Generally, there are quite a few people who are now preferring playing Reach over Halo 5 and there are plenty of games I have played with respectable other players. It all depends on what game modes you play. I play SWAT mostly and do just fine. Only really seen modders/hackers in BTB.
Halo Reach is easily the most playable game in the franchise for multiplayer! Team Swat was done very well on that game and for the most part it still has an active fan base for that specific game mode! I’m a big fan of Team Snipers as well!!
People are coming over from Halo 4 to Reach? That must be a nice additional five or six players. Reach is the best Halo online experience at the moment since Halo 3’s population is drastically low and Halo 2 for PC is even worse.
I think that reach is one of the best halo and although unfortunately its population continues to decline, most of those who remain active are good players with whom you will have to fight very well in order to win
Halo Reach is and will always be AMAZING! The dedication of the players who still play online and who still wanna get to the Inheritor rank is awesome to behold.

I’m not sure which gametype you have played, Griffball maybe? Ever since I got back into Reach, I met awesome people and so far I have awesome experiences playing the game, I’ve had countless victories and defeats and I barely see any toxic players, angry players or role-play clans.
By the way, new players are one of the things that make me most happy while playing online. Because it means people are getting to know about Halo Reach and actually start to spend money on it.

Of course there are regular players who aren’t doing what I mentioned. I typically run in with those players probably because my low rep. The volume of hate mail I get is larger than Dark Souls while invading in the forest. (If you play Dark Souls 1 PvP you probably have low rep as well because the rep system is trash and poor sports.)

I love my controllers/console too much to play Dark Souls.
There is a bug that says population is 0. Anyone know why? Or are all games going to the 0/no pupulatopn counter? I love population counters in games.
