My Halo Reach Achievements are glitched. It is not giving me the achievement even when I complete the specified requirement. Has anybody else had this same problem or know of a way to fix it?
What specifically isnt unlocking, what achievement ?
It has only happened to me once with the vidmaster achievement from Halo 3 it keep showing up and disappearing
Some Anniversary achievements and Defiant achievements aren’t unlocking for me. Some for example are All Alone, License to Kill, and Dive Bomber.
The more newer achievements are quite buggy, things like lag or black screens can cause them to become impossible for the game you are in.

This might be why but I don’t think it is because I just played a game where I should have gotten the License to Kill achievement and there was no lag or black screens.
Black sreens reset medals and cheeves.
Also the add-on cheeves have to be on specified maps. Make sure you’re doing them correctly.
If you know you are, clear your system’s cache and try again!

Most of the Add-on achievements aren’t on required maps. The Defiant achievement All Alone requires a Last Man Standing in a matchmade Infection game. Living Dead is the only playlist to get it in and from my experience Living Dead doesn’t support DlC Maps

All Alone must be done on Uplink/Condemned in the Living Dead playlist, it can’t be achieved on any other map.
License to Kill has to be on an Anniversary Map so you’re looking at Ridgeline/Timberland or Headlong/Breakneck.
Dive Bomber has to be done on an Anniversary Map as well and what you’re really getting is a Firebird Beatdown. You have to actively be firing the jetpack as you just smack someone in the back of the head. Not an assassination, not a pummel, but a beat down.

The add-on achievements are a bit annoying to get, some of them like “all alone” are not likely to happen without getting a group together. All of the DLC achievements I had to get on their respective maps (anniversary to anniversary maps etc.) except for the noble1 achievements where only “you blew it up” is map specific after looking online and checking various forums I’ve found that the only way to get a defiant map is for everyone In the lobby to have the map pack. So the strategy to get “all alone” is to get a party with the defiant DLC map pack and enter the living dead playlist. I myself am only missing “alone” and “don’t touch that”
