will a halo reach 2 ever happen, personally halo reach was my favorite game and it would be awesome if they could make a halo reach 2, but unfortunately I don’t think it will happen.
Unfortunately due to lore a sequel to Reach is highly unlikely. Unless something extreme and unexpected happens in later Halo games, Reach 2 will never be a thing, mainly due to Reach being repopulated/recovered by the UNSC sometime in the future (I can’t remember), and all Noble Team members being killed off except for Jun.

it would be nice if jun came back and brought locke into it because locke was in halo 2

I doubt it. Me personally I would like a reach ODST though. Telling the story of the other Spartan III’s. Or even (his old team was on reach)
