Now, I’ve been playing Halo Reach for many years now and as old as Reach is, it is doing very well in terms of player base, despite Reach’s release in 2010 the Reach community is still well alive and strong, however, since Reach was the First game I played when I bought my Xbox and still playing it until today I believe that Halo Reach could do with an upgrade to revive the community, possibly back to that of what it was in 2010. I couldn’t find one thing I didn’t enjoy whilst playing Reach, the Campaign, Forge, Multiplayer and it’s custom games were all great. However, I personally haven’t really enjoyed the other Halo games after Reach, the only thing I enjoyed about Halo: 5 would be Warzone Firefight. In conclusion, I believe that there should be a second Reach or a remastered Reach, just to see my childhood game be revived and to enjoy all of the nostalgia at 60 FPS and with better graphics, anyone else agree?
If a second Reach were to be made, it might be difficult seeing as how it ended where Halo: CE picks up. I mean they could possibly make one about the events on reach after the Pillar of Autumn escaped, and include most of the other named spartans that died in the fall of Reach. But I definitely think it would be awesome. A remastered version would be sick as well.
story wise, it is basically impossible to do anything without it being canon, UNLESS there is a book of when the humans repopulate Reach. if that happens, what conflict other than possible insurrection would we play against? i think it’s a bit too late into the stories to bring up insurrection, unless it was prior to the covenant invasion.
i get in super feels when it comes to halo lore, and i apologize if this doesn’t make sense or i’m just rambling.
If they were to make a “successor” to Reach it would be on the planet harvest probably where the covenant first visited and attacked.
