Halo Ranking with a Game Loss

I was just playing the summer preview and I’m ranked Gold 2, I just had 25 kills and 6 deaths in a CTF game I played the objective by defending and returning the flag. I had a killing frenzy with a DMR and pistol (no power weapon involved) I did so much damage that the rest of my team compared still did not equal what I had. Even after all this I still decreased in rank. Why? Because I lost the game. This shouldn’t happen. Your ranking should not be dependent on winning or losing because this has happened several times to me when I come out #1 on the board so please fix this so that when I have a great game im evaluated on my performance rather than my teams.

I disagree.
wins are more important than stats.

I think a combination would be best, wins = team player good KDA = player you want on your team.

Wins is infinitely more important. It is not perfect, but is the best metric we can have that encourages team play. OP if you want to be evaluated on your performance play FFA. You judge a team, not a player to see who wins.

^This, especially considering in an objective game it’s all about completing the objective. The objective of CTF is not to rack up a ton of kills, but to capture flags, more power to you if you can do both.

Also I’ve noticed that if you win/lose/win/lose you are still gaining ground in ranking. Not by much but the wins count a bit more than the losses. At least that’s what the game history on waypoint shows.
