Halo Pistol Changes From Silver to Black in Every Proceeding Game – What Could it Mean?
I’m not sure if I’m the only one that’s noticed this, or maybe I’m just late to the party, but hear me out: Every Halo game has always incorporated the magnum. Whether it had a zoom or a faster fire rate dependent on which game, the magnum has consistently been a part of the Halo series; however, I’ve noticed a weird pattern through the Magnum’s history: the colour switches every time.
Halo 4: Silver Pistol - Halo 5: Black PistolCan you see the pattern? Is there some kind of inside conspiracy to this that we, as the gamers, who play the product cannot see. Mysterious…
I think it’s more about the whole design. When the magnum is silver it’s a huge bulcky thing which looks like an exotic safari .50 cal gun.
Wherease in black it’s more of a tactical military pistol.
But I doesn’t seem it has anything to do with the universe, isn’t it just about diversifying the games ? Not having the same thing every time (Since the magnum is one of the most used weapons)

They have been constantly trying to fine tune the weapon every single game to get it right and the above statement shows it. hopefully halo 6 get it perfect because halo 5 almost had it right.

> The Magnums featured in the Halo games are actually different Weapons in Canon:
>
> Halo: CE(A): M6-D
> Halo 2(A): M6-C
> Halo 3: M6-G
> Halo 3: ODST: M6-C/SOCOM
> Halo: Reach: M6-G (older version)
> Halo 4: M6-H
> Halo 5: Guardians: M6-H2
Also in the real military weapons can have different colorations, usually for special operations. So while most are steel black, some are given a white or tan coloration.
