Why is it that 343 is allowing there own AAA product to fall behind an unfinished, free to play game?
From what I understand, they have gamemodes like oddball already implemented, and more maps already available (although only 4 of them are really original, the rest are just H3 maps, but we know how H3 maps compare to H5 maps lol).
Why does Halo 5 appear to be the inferior game?
halo online is crap when it comes to gameplay, like literal brown turds

The gameplay doesn’t seem as good as H5, but I already enjoy H4 over H5 for content, even though H4 has obviously worse gameplay, so that doesn’t concern me much.
Out of curiosity, have you played Halo Online? If so, is it possible to disable certain settings to bring it closer to H3?
I love halo 5, its online is fun, and i can enjoy it if im with a fireteam or by myself in any gamemode. I wish i coukd play Halo Online though, but i literally can’t because my comouter can’t run it without overheating, blue-screening, and then having to be left off for a couple hours.
I played Halo Online like half a year ago probably.
It’s basically just Halo 3 multiplayer with sprint, hitscan, and slightly fewer maps. To say it’s beating out Halo 5 in content is debatable. You were also completely at the mercy of the settings and maps determined by the server hosts.
You’d honestly be better off just playing Halo 3 in the MCC.
Well, it’s only “officially” available as a pre-release beta/alpha in Russia, so…

I don’t know for sure if its beating it out in game modes ( I can’t find any sources for game mode lists, but I’ve seen some like oddball), but it definitely doesn’t have any remixes or forged maps, which is something I can get behind.
Server settings are also something I can get into, but something tells me that the variations in the host settins on Hal Online are a bit crazier than Battlefield…
