Halo One Campaign/Multi-player Should Be...

Been a Halo fan since the first Halo game! Halo 4 most of us know it was a flop (including 343i) and it didn’t live up to the hype. Now 343i needs to listen to it’s gamers and make this game perfect (or shall I say better than Halo 4). So what Halo One needs is…

Campaign
Needs to have more better and exciting missions. I loved the Jet mission in Halo 4 so we need more of this! The game also has to be harder to complete on Legendary Solo mode. Halo 4 was not even challenging on Legendary Solo.

Four player co-op should have different individual characters rather than everyone as Master Chief!

Spartan Ops
Get rid of this! Do NOT include this in Halo One as it was pointless just pressing buttons/switches and killing random computer programmed bots.

Multi-player

Maps & Engine
Now this needs major improvements! The lighting and maps should be better than what Halo 4 had. The game should include all previous Halo maps remade in HD. It would be great to have all Halo 1-4 maps in HD including with new Halo 5 maps. This way gamers will have more choice of maps rather than being crippled to like 4 maps etc. Weapons need to be balanced properly and the entire multiplayer engine needs a revamp. Just use Halo 3 multiplayer engine and tweak it.

Sprint
Sprint should be there by default and this should not be a perk or disabled if using a different perk such as shield, cloak etc.

Swords & Hammers Mode
Bring back Swords/Hammers with sticky grenades mode (no gun weapons even on maps). This was great on Halo 3! This should be back no DOUBT!

Ranking System
Better ranking system needed! Bungie’s Halo Reach ranking system was awesome. Harder to achieve and took time to get higher up! Something like that ranking system should be used.

Dual Welding Guns
This should be back like it was in Halo 3. Master Chief can use dual guns and don’t make him into a weakling who can’t use dual guns. This should be available in campaign as well.

Weapons/Upgrades & Crosshair
We need loads of weapons! Bring back (if you can) all weapons from previous Halo games along with new weapons for Halo One. Each weapon should have more detailed crosshair that you can see. I found Halo 4 crosshair to small/light (coudln’t hardly see it at times when there’s like all different coloured spartans mixing in the fight).

Another feature that I think would be good is weapon upgrades. If you get over 500 kills using a certain weapon let’s say for example a assault rifle which has 250 ammo capacity when reaching 500 kills you get upgrade to start off with 300. So therefore you can unlock features like scope, reload speed etc for weapons.

Armor
Halo has been all about the Armor to show off in Multiplayer. I think it’s time that each armor has it’s own durability, health, stamina effect. For example if you use bulky armor it will make your health some what stronger but will reduce your speed at running/movability/assassination. So each armor has it’s own advantages/disadvantages. This would make the entire multiplayer different. Some user may not like this new armor mode but you can always have two modes (classic mode).

Ordnance
This needs a little tweak. At certain times on Halo 4 I got my health reduced when an ordnance fell on me kind of. I don’t know if this was due to network or some lag.

Split screen
This was horrible on Halo 4. I always play Halo online with my brother along with friends. However Halo 4 suffered from huge lag (not talking about network lag). I’m talking about actual map lag. Certain maps will lag very badly when playing split-screen. With the power of Xbox One, I hope this problem is eliminated!

Playable as Spartan/Elite/Promethean
Should be playable as three different characters each with it’s own ranking up system to unlock features such as ammo, weapon upgrades.

Halo One should be the “THE ONE HALO EXPERIENCE YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS”

I disagree, the concept of Spartan Ops is great, it had the ability to be a tool to tie two games together, by introducing new characters, AIs, Vehicles, and weapons, which it kind of did. BUT it failed because it was repetitive and copy and paste from campaign, and more or less the same mission design each episode.

But, it was a free second campaign.

Dude, the game isn’t divided into campaign and Multiplayer when it comes to engine, it’s all the same Game engine, just different modes. Also, NO, not every single -Yoinking!- map from past Halo games shouldn’t be remade. Lets not waste space with maps that have been remade 50000000000000 -Yoinking!- times, and is in every freaking game. IE BLOOD -Yoinking!- GULCH.

If it’s been remade in ANY GAME, that’s it, LEAVE IT, DON’T REMAKE IT AGAIN. I don’t mind reimagined maps and/or inspired maps, like Valhalla was in Halo 3.

If 343i remade every god -Yoink!- map from past Halos for Halo 5, it’s going to make them look like a bunch of lazy developers, riding on the coat tails of Bungie, unwilling to create their own damn maps.

In the “Maps & Engine” you said you want weapons to be balanced in MP, BUT you’re asking for Dual wielding, which is anything BUT balanced, they was left out BECAUSE they’re a royal pain to balance.

If they did return, they should only return in Campaign, Fire Fight, Spartan Ops, and maybe customs. NOT Match Making.

People will hate this, because this defeats “Equal starts” deal, BUT for Fire Fight, and Spartan Ops, this feature would be okay.

Firstly, no it’s not.
Secondly, durability? As in showing the armor having damage as cosmetic? Okay? Anything other than cosmetic, NO, in PvP, HELL NO.
Any armor that effects more than just cosmetic will not happen, because again, Equal starts, it’s not fair for player A to have armor that gives him more stamina, and Player B has armor that gives him more health. PvE games/modes, that really wouldn’t matter much, but Player vs Player, that’s unbalanced, and unfair, and a -Yoink- fest waitting to happen.

You know why Halo 4’s split screen what horrible? HARDWARE!!!
You’re playing a graphics heavy game of Halo 4, on Xbox 360 Hardware that is over 8 years old, and AGING! I had a PC the same age as the Xbox 360’s hardware, could out preform the 360, but blew smoke when I played graphic heavy games. If it’s LAGGING, as in Frame Rate, which is what you’re talking, THAT is 500% hardware right there.

Firstly, No on the Promethean, at least if they’re anything like the Didact in size, which I believe they are, again, that’s grounds of “Unfair gameplay”, which Halo MP players hate.
Secondly, you’re talking about things that I’d expect to hear suggested for a PvE game, like say Warframe, not a PvP game like Halo…
More ammo? Weapon upgrades? Dude, these are not fair things in PvP, and like I’ve pointed out above, is a -Yoink- fest waiting to happen, and are things that most players would rage about.
