Halo 4 wasn’t a bad game but a bunch of the stuff fans loved from Reach and halo 3 wasn’t in it here’s a list of things 343 that the community would like you to put into your new halo
WHAT NEEDS TO RETURN FROM PREVIOUS HALO GAMES

The Return of Elites in Matchmaking
Elites are good for machinima and due to the lost of elites some of the community’s favorite game modes from Halo reach & 3 were no more -
Bring Back Duel Wielding
Duel Wielding was very popular in halo 2 & 3 also useful but if you are worried about it being over powered then create some type of weapon that could counter it or duel wielding load out weapons so everyone can use it without worrying about grabbing the gun on the ground first -
another Halo: Reach forge world map
in my opinion the forge world maps(besides forge island) were still too small and not big enough for a machinima set we would like to see the return of Forge world or a map that matches its size -
Bring back Falcons and Hornets
fans were disappointed when hornets did not return in Reach fans were also disappointed when Hornets & Falcons did not return in halo 4 there needs to be a UNSC air vehicle to counter with the covenant banshee also Machinima need UNSC air vehicles to return -
The Return of Larger maps
correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think there was a map the size of Halo 3’s Sand trap in halo 4 we want to see those large scale maps return for fun combat and Machinima -
The Return of the halo 3 infection/flood settings
ever since Halo reach Infection never felt the same as halo 3 and wasn’t even in halo 4 I like the idea of flood models but you should give us an option to turn it on or off and bring back the ability to hold weapons and full use of editing the load outs -
The Return of previous Halo multiplayer maps
idk if a everyone wants these but I’ve heard a lot of people wanting to see the return of Blood Gultch, Last resort, FORGE WORLD & Standoff also others but the fans love these maps and would love to see them return -

2 different sections for matchmaking 1 with personal l load outs 1 with pre-set load out and maybe another for people who want to enjoy the classic Halo experience

Make sure from the start to have at least 2 weapons that can counter
each other so its more fair

I will Admit Halo 4 could’ve been better though I understand it was your first game but listen to the fans if you want to add something to the game that your not sure if fans would like it then before you put it into the game you should tell the community what you want to do then hear there reaction if its good or not that way you wont create a game which may upset some of the fans I love Halo and I’m really excited for the next so please listen this time around
