When I heard Halo games were going to be on Xbox One, next gen consoles. I was excited. I expected the in game graphics to look as good as the Halo Wars CGI cutscenes. I expect all of next gen in game graphics to look as good as pre rendered CGI from 2005-2010.
Then I saw Halo the Master Chief colection and Halo 5… And it looked fantastic! The graphics look great! However there is a major flaw. I don’t know if this flaw applies to Halo 5, but it certainly applies to Halo The Master Chief Collection. The game has low res textures at certain areas, even on the Xbox One.

Xbox One is supposed to be next gen, we shouldn’t have to be seeing low res textures anymore, it’s time for graphics in video games to move forward. When will we stop seeing low res textures?!
If we played Halo for good graphics, Halo 4 wouldn’t be a wasteland. Graphics should be the least of everyone’s concerns.

Then why make the Xbox One?
Might as well have Halo 5, and 6 on the 360. Having no evolution to graphics.
Don’t mean to give the default “WORK IN PROGRESS” response. I understand your concerns, and I hope that the finished product looks better as well. Thankfully the final release of H5 is more than a year away.
One thing to note, however, is that even if the game doesn’t look much better than what we’ve seen so far, it has been stated that the game will run at 1080p, 60fps. This is pretty significant, as no Halo has ever been rendered this way before… and the last few Halo games have suffered from pretty bad framerate issues.
I’m honestly not too impressed with the assets so far either, but I think smooth playability might help to compensate for that. And besides, we’re still in the XBOne’s early days. Considering the difference between Halo 3, ODST, Reach and 4… I think in the coming years that Halo’s graphics are going to become quite impressive.

Not really, graphics are very important to some people. Although multiplayer is the key to a game’s instant decline or good longevity. The campaign and its story is still what a lot of people by Halo for, and graphics are usually essential in that department.
I agree completely. That being said, I don’t need H1 and H2 completely over-hauled to near H5 likeness. A cool update is gladly accepted.

Well, there’s bluray for bigger space. New consoles aren’t just about graphics.
What’s more important AMAZING graphics with DECENT gameplay or DECENT graphics with AMAZING gameplay?

Are you kidding me? Are you complaining at textures being low-rez that are pretty much outside of the map? This location you linked is way under the map since the player fell down. This is not even a valid complaint since gamemakers do these kind of things all the time to save resources. It is meant to be like that…
