Halo on PC?

So with Halo 5’s Forge coming to PC later this year, I was wondering: what if 343 starts releasing Halo on both Xbox One and PC from now on? What are all of your opinions on this, would this be a good thing or a bad thing? I personally think that this would be a good thing for Halo. I’ve stopped playing my Xbox One and only played Halo 5 a little (a lot less compared to other games in the franchise) as I moved more towards PC gaming before it came out. If Halo were to come out on PC it would bring me back into the franchise, and I would start playing it about almost as often as I did before. I’m sure this is the same for many different people within the Halo community.

(If there was any post similar to this posted before hand, please link me to it. If there is I’m sorry for a repost as I’ve looked through the forums a little and did not see a post similar to this one before I posted).

As long as the optimization for Halo Windows 10 version is well done, I don’t think that is a bad thing. Nowadays, Xbox One and Windows 10 PC are more and more similar in hardware and OS. More specific, Xbox One is already running on Windows 10. In the future, ‘Xbox Exclusive’ would be more like ‘Windows Exclusive’. That trend dates back to the release of Alan Wake.

The bigger margin for error and server crashes too…

At least Forge: halo 5 guardians edition is the start of something. Maybe full halo will come to pc in the near future?
