I have a Proposal; this is to change the name of this game, Halo: 4, to the aforementioned Halo of Duty: Spartan Ops. Reasons for this name change are:
More Call of Duty fans will buy/play this game; the name change will also help sell more copies.
Most of the new additions to gameplay are taken from Call of Duty.
Reduced skill gap that most Call of duty fans are used to.
Black Ops 2 is coming out at the same time and some people might pick this game up as well with the new name.
Can I ask why does every new game that comes out have to be like Call of Duty? I don’t get it the reason I play Halo is because it takes skill and does not play anything like Call of Duty i.e. camping, unbalanced gameplay etc. If I wanted to play Call of Duty guess what I would do, put Call of Duty in my Xbox and play it. I want a Halo game not Call of duty FFS. The dumbest thing about it is without innovation the market will kill it’s self by being saturated with Call of Duty clones, such as Halo: 4.
> The name Spartan Operations doesn’t sound like it came from CoD.
Yeah, I have to admit, I’ve personally forgotten the bit in CoD when you download a free weekly mission involving tasks such as infiltrating Forerunner facilities and battling phase-shifting Promethean defence AI with your three super-soldier buddies.
It’s funny because a large portion of the Call of Duty community I know really likes Halo. Do we really need to sort people into “CoD fan” and “Halo fan”? If someone plays both games equally, which category do they fit into?

You need to look up sarcasm, in written English you can only convey sarcasm when you in form the reader because sarcasm is a tone of voice. I was being serious. And how I am I lying?

Oh I forgot that Call of Duty has no loadouts, no grenade indicators, no perk system, no bullet hit indicators, no sprint on spawn and many other things. This is an innovation from the Halo series; no other game has any of these. Sarcasm. See the indication of sarcasm, that is how it works in written English.

I never claimed any of that. In fact, your reply makes so little sense in relation to my original post, I’d’ve thought you’d replied to the wrong person was there another post that fitted any better.
Hmmm… I didn’t know “Ops” could only be used by Call of Duty. Too bad all those millitary organisation in the world and games with Ops in the name will need to change or face the consequence.
They should also find a new name for the spartan because really the term “spartan” was already used long ago…
OP need to learn to play video game many games came before COD with most of the feature they introduce into CoD4 and copy/paste 5,6,7,8,9,10,(…)
