Halo ODST Firefight - Johnson

Community I had a question about Firefight from Halo OSDT, I have Sergeant Johnson as a character to play, but I don’t hear any dialogue like in Halo Reach.

I don’t know what you think, I didn’t have this character in the Xbox 360 version, and I don’t remember if the characters said dialogues.

What do you think that even the dialogs in this ODST for MCC, this would improve the firefight much more.

This has been this way since ODST came to MCC. None of the characters, including Sergeant Major Johnson use their dialogue during matchmaking. All they do is grunt or react to pain. If you play custom ODST Firefight, you will hear their dialogue just fine.

I did not know this I will try in custom games to listen to Johnson’s dialogues, but I think this should work it 343 in one of his Firefight improvements thanks brother

You’re welcome, and yes it most definitely should work during matchmaking. Hopefully this is fixed soon.

Same problem in Italian Firefight Johnson is mute
I don’t understand why? Because Back to og version Johnson was translate very well in Italian

I do not know brother but they must fix this, because the 360 version could not buy Johson and for MCC I wanted to have it but it does not say dialogues, it is very frustrating

They should definitely fix this, it’s a feature that they have no excuse overlooking since they have it in Reach

Correct would improve OSDT’s Firefight with character voices

This definitely sounds like a localisation-specific issue. Might be worth raising a support ticket
