I’ve had the master chief collection for a while now and I’ve been going through all the campaigns. I’m 3/11 on ODST but now when I launch it, it says it’s not installed and I have to buy it? There’s no install option. I haven’t launched the ODST campaign in a while but I had no issues to begin with. I cant open it in playlist either.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Are you logged on the same account that bought the DLC? Have you always played on the same console? Have you tried removing your profile and redownloading it? When you check the game contents for MCC on your storage, do you see the 10 MB license file for ODST?

I never bought the DLC I had the ODST campaign when I installed from disc.
I dont have the 10MB license file but I’ve been playing through it and my progress is still there. So I’m at a loss

So here’s the thing. ODST DLC was given out to free to people early adopters of MCC as compensation for the state of the game at launch. It was not on the disc. So I’m not sure what you mean about having the ODST campaign when you installed from disc. If you don’t have the license file, that could explain why you are currently unable to access the ODST campaign. After MCC’s major update last year, the structure of the game was redesigned so that every campaign was included, even ODST, but ODST could only be accessed if you owned the 10 MB license file.

That doesn’t really make sense. I can see on the campaign screen that I’m 3 chapters is out of 11 on the ODST campaign so clearly I’ve been playing it. I’ve not deleted anything so I’m unsure as to why I don’t have the ODST file, I’ve also never uninstalled the MCC.
