I am currently in the process of creating a Halo Fan Fiction that will center upon a squad of ODST’s lead by a Spartan IV sent on a mission to retrieve Dr.Halsey but the mission ends up going south and a whole new dilemma opens up… this will take place between Halo 4 and 5 and I plan on putting this on Wattpad, please let me know if you would be interested in reading this! There’s a problem though. We’ve got Escalation which shows what Halsey was doing after the destruction of Requiem. To be fair, the main story begins around halfway through the comic. You could have it where ODSTs from the UNSC Vociferous are sent it to get her. The Vociferous was sent to find Halsey and 'Mdama in March 2558. the Janus Key arc begins in July 2558.

Hmm okay, I’ll have to read up on it and on what happens, but I do like your idea, does the ending of it lead up to Halo 5 or is there still a big time difference between the comic and the game?

The Janus Key arc ends, then we got a 2 issue about Tanaka. After that we got the continuation of the main story, in the Absolute Record arc. This takes place in September 2558, where Palmer, Thorne, Tanaka, and Glassman follow Halsy and Jul to the Absolute Record. Things go down, but no-one has the Janus Key and the fate of the Absolute Record is unknown. Palmer is on good terms with Halsey after Halsey failed to get what she wanted.
