Halo now has less players than Destiny 2

Dude, you lost the min you posted your first reply and you don’t even know it. That’s all anyone needs to know. Have a nice day.

Lol. Because you weren’t counting on someone with a thousand hours in Warframe to come in here and check your pants-on-head stupid post?

Didn’t address a single point, even though I backed up everything I said.

How dare I? I’m clearly not on your plane of existence m’lord.

According to what little research I did on the topic, DE had like 250 people working on Warframe. Sort of the opposite of an indie studio, which is what you paint them as.

All of this is kind of irrelevant to the main topic btw.

I have an S and if you are running 1440p it will only reach 60fps but if you bring it back to 1080p it will push 120fps with the right monitor of course.

Yeah, month prior to H4’s release Reach was still getting 100k+ players too… A game that was about 3 years old vs a 6 month old game with 6,000 lol.

At this point Microsoft should throw 343 in the trash, take all the good people
From 343, hire back bungie and let bungie do whatever they want as long as they manage halo.

Bungie is not perfect and Destiny has left a sour taste to me but 343 has consistently failed in my eyes.

With how bungie is doing with d2 abd with them wanting to stay solo that’s not gonna happen like at all

To be fair to @TheShadow_CA the studio was on the verge of closing its doors when they released a super bare bones early access (which engaged in all the same “predatory” practices that they accuse Halo Infinite of having). The money they made was substantial enough to continually fund development.

@Sir_Boobington Lol. Do you think 343 is this powerful entity that isn’t comprised of the people that Microsoft would be re-hiring?

Again. Bungie isn’t made up of the same people that were around when they made Halo.

This is correct. I’m guessing you have one.

I just don’t get how theres 1 Ranked playlist. Is this a joke? We need a variety of ranked playlists… How is Team Doubles and Team Slayer not in the game yet. But yet they add Cat Ears to the store? 343 isnt the best company….

Well I heard the crazy stat that it had a 50% decline in population after 2 weeks, but lord did it do worse than I thought it did.

I highly highly doubt that Bungie would be remotely interested in releasing another Halo title, with how successful Destiny 2 has been and all that (Same reason Epic Games will never work on Gears of War again, would be stupid business wise)

If they were to fire the folks at 343i (lets be honest here, they would just have them work on another IP or something most likely) they would want a new company with bold ideas in mind to take the mantle. I just don’t see it. They’d probably be more likely to have Bethesda take over Halo then another company entirely lol.

I mean as disappointing as Halo 4 was (I still believe this was their most disappointing game by far, game was like a really crappy version of Halo 3 with CoD mechanics and horrible art direction and so on) and Halo 5 was as well, I think its a presumptuous to say that Infinite cannot rebound.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Infinite is a Sea of Thieves situation. Game comes out with practically no content, then they eventually update it with a lot of content, and it just becomes a fantastic game over time. Most of Infinite’s problems are fixable within 1 year, and the game can be freaking amazing years later, but its all just speculation/theory because nobody knows what 343i are going to do in 2022 (aside from Co-op/Forge that is) so its a waiting game :man_shrugging:

Don’t think it would keep a big player base even if the game was perfect.

This, halo infinite will likely end up sitting around 25k-20k on steam alone that is it.

I mean Halos MP population isn’t something I’m interested in but isn’t judging the success of Halo Infinite by Steam stats a bad statistical measure?

You’re talking about a brand that’s synonymous with Xbox and a game that comes with GamePass for PC.

Steam is obviously the biggest PC platform but Infnites Xbox numbers are where the true information lies.

Noooo, that’s not what I said.

I said it isn’t fair to compare the two. One has been out since 2017. The other came out this month.

HALO STANS are to blame

The what now?! Translation?

Pretty much this, that said it is still a good metric for partial player data.

And from it we can tell infinite is doing well, even though it has a low active player base it still has a pretty good base for this type of game.

You mean issues they deliberately created that never needed to take place in the first place. We are dealing with a business that has been in business a long time. It’s not like they “didn’t know” what they were doing creating this game.

Since they own bethesda now, perhaps some doom and elder scrolls dev’s can get some “temporary additional duty”

I like how you ignored how DE never had the resources as 343 actually does.

Anyway, nice try I guess🤷‍♂️

Check these 2 post out, they explain everything wrong with Infinite and compares past Halo titles and other games as well.
Infinite is just bad, up in the top 3 worst games with micro-transactions in my books.
