Halo notes 5 on XSX

  1. General

There is still a fair amount of things that can bring people back to the game. I think these points can refresh Halo Infinite for season 2:

  • refresh every competitive map weapon locker/pad. HI thrives on its sandbox. Changing the sandbox will make the game feel different and new. It would be appropriate with the new season. Currently S2 offers no new gameplay loops or mechanics to learn other than the new map.
  • A new weapon/gadget. If you have one tucked away, ship it. Doesn’t matter if it’s broken or polished. Anything new is a win. It would be better to hear people complain about a weapon they don’t like than the same old “no content” story.
  • Make S2 the season of armor coatings. If armor coatings are easier to streamline and ship to the players, it’s time to prove it. They don’t need to be fancy or pretty, but give your players options.
