The Halo 5 armor you unlock is not exclusive to Nightfall - you can earn it in-game through REQ packs.
This is a known issue, as Halo Channel has been having some problems for some time. In order to lodge a registered complaint, I would suggest putting in a ticket with Halo Support.
My advice is that Nightfall isn’t worth it. Seeing as how you can earn the Halo 5 armor in-game, and that the MCC unlocks are pretty meh - the fact is, Nightfall is fairly mediocre anyway, so you might make better use of your time just by playing Halo 5 multiplayer.
